MBC102 In-Home Coding/Billing Entrepreneurship Program

This course provides students with knowledge and understanding of how to set up their home office, how to write a business plan and how market their business. Students will be exposed to abstracting medical charts which consist of pulling medical information from charts and applying the ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS Coding Systems. Students will also be exposed to governmental contracts and attend contracting classes for the possibility of becoming a Independent coding contractor.
